The team have got off to a flying start for 2020 with talks already given, meeting for helping get another Public access Defibrillator project underway and arranging donation of another in Thatcham. Our first training session was 3rd August 2013 since then, as of 27th January 2020, we have had provided a total of 167 training sessions which has seen almost 2,000 people educated with potentially lifesaving skills. We installed our first Public Access Defibrillator in October 2014 and to date we have installed over 60 units ourselves and helped many others to get their own units. Last year we worked with a number of local schools giving talks and providing training and we have continued to help Kintbury with their aim of training as many residents as possible. So as we start 2020 we have to say a huge thank you to everyone for their support and all the volunteers that make Heartstart Thatcham work.
To continue to serve the community we are looking for additional support. We have a range of volunteer roles that might need to be filled. If you are interested in volunteering, becoming a trustee, etc. please get in touch via our contact page.
