On Saturday 13th July 2013, six instructors were put through their paces by Training Supervisor Naomi Mildenhall. Naomi works as a Neighbourhood Warden in Thatcham and is also a Community Responder. The event saw instructors, many of whom already have first aid qualifications and/or teaching experience, testing their skills, both teaching and first aid with ongoing assessment and a final assessment to ensure they are all able to teach and perform first aid to the public.

We, Heartstart Thatcham, were present at the Thatcham Family Fun Day on Sunday 30th June 2013 at Henwick Worthy Sports Ground. All of our courses up to and including 5th October 2013 are now full. We are operating a waiting list, if anyone drops out of a course the place will be offered to the person at the top of the waiting list. Additional training events will take place in November and December, and into 2014, but are yet to be arranged. There will also be a special event during Thatcham Festival of Art and Leisure during October 2013.
